Chapters of life leading up to Kitchens By Remote Launching

The background of Kitchens By Remote began back in the summer of ’94 when a then young, Steve Eisenmenger began as an employee of Mark, a prominent high-quality custom cabinet builder. During his years there, Steve had learned many secrets to what had made Mark so renowned in his field. The most memorable quote from Mark was after Steve had noticed a flaw in one of the projects that he was working on, knowing that if he had taken the time to fix it he would be over the estimated time for the job, and he said “Steve, what would you do if this was in your house?”. From that point on, every time he had to make a tough decision, Steve would apply that mindset, and it has helped him become very reputable with his skillset as well.

As Steve became a self-employed handyman at the beginning of 2001, he quickly became very busy, improving his line of tools and scope of work, Steve became a general contractor in just a couple of years, building homes, remodeling homes, and building a townhouse development, all before the recession of ’09. As the construction world adjusted during the recession, he focused more on remodeling, and with that came much more bathroom and kitchen remodels. Steve quickly learned that his most efficient work and profit on investment (POI) came from the cabinetry. His specialization became even more concentrated on cabinetry by 2014, by then he was focused solely on cabinet design and installation.

With 2020 being such an unchartered year with the pandemic and the insane election, he seen an opportunity to take advantage of the trend that was pushing the people towards online and remote working. Combining the remote opportunity with his desire to travel the country, he developed this online business called Kitchens By Remote, KBR, so that he could use his talents as a designer, salesperson, and contractor, providing his services wherever he was located in the world, as long as he had internet.

Steve’s goal is not to be the biggest, but simply the best. And that my friend, is what you will receive when you partner as a client with him and his team.
