By accessing our website, placing an order, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

2.1 Cabinet Products

We offer kitchen cabinetry from various manufacturers including:

  • Premium Local (Quote-Based): SOLLiD Cabinetry, ENVii Cabinetry — Arizona-made cabinets requiring consultation and custom quotes
  • RTA Cabinetry (Online Purchase): DL Cabinetry, ROC Cabinetry, AVA Cabinetry — Ready-to-assemble cabinets available for direct purchase

2.2 Design Services

We provide remote kitchen design services including:

  • Free DIY design resources and tools
  • Paid full-service design consultations
  • 3D rendering and space planning
  • Cabinet selection and specification assistance

2.3 Product Accuracy

We make every effort to display product colors, finishes, and dimensions accurately. However, due to variations in photography, monitor settings, and manufacturing, actual products may vary slightly from images shown. Wood products may exhibit natural variations in grain and color.

3. Quotes & Pricing

3.1 Quote Validity

Important: All quotes for premium cabinetry (SOLLiD, ENVii) and design services are valid for 30 days from the date issued. After 30 days, pricing may change due to manufacturer price adjustments, material availability, or market conditions.

3.2 Online Pricing (RTA Products)

Prices displayed on our website for RTA cabinetry are current at the time of viewing. We reserve the right to change prices without notice. The price charged will be the price displayed at the time of your order.

3.3 Pricing Errors

In the event of a pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel any orders placed at the incorrect price. We will notify you promptly and offer you the option to proceed at the correct price or receive a full refund.

3.4 Design Service Fees

Full-service design fees vary based on project complexity and are communicated during your initial consultation. Design fees may be credited toward qualifying cabinet purchases — specific terms will be outlined in your design agreement.

4. Orders & Payment

4.1 Payment Processing

All payments are securely processed through Square. We accept:

  • Credit and Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)
  • Square Pay
  • Cash App Pay
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay
  • Afterpay (for qualifying purchases)

4.2 Order Confirmation

After placing an order, you will receive an email confirmation. This confirmation acknowledges receipt of your order but does not constitute acceptance. We reserve the right to decline any order for any reason, including product availability, suspected fraud, or pricing errors.

4.3 Custom & Special Orders

Premium cabinetry orders (SOLLiD, ENVii) are custom manufactured and require a deposit as specified in your quote. Custom orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun.

4.4 Sales Tax

Applicable sales tax will be calculated and added at checkout based on your shipping address and current tax regulations.

5. Shipping & Delivery

5.1 Shipping Methods

Shipping methods and carriers vary by product type and destination. Detailed shipping information is provided at checkout and in your order confirmation.

5.2 Lead Times

  • RTA Cabinetry (DL, ROC, AVA): Typically ships within 5-10 business days
  • SOLLiD Cabinetry: 7-45 business days depending on series selected
  • ENVii Cabinetry: 30-35 business days

Lead times are estimates and may vary based on product availability, customization requirements, and shipping destination.

5.3 Delivery Inspection

Important: Upon delivery, please inspect all packages for visible damage BEFORE signing for the shipment. Note any damage on the delivery receipt. If damage is discovered, take photographs immediately and contact us within 48 hours at [email protected].

5.4 Risk of Loss

Risk of loss transfers to you upon delivery to your specified address. For freight shipments, risk transfers upon delivery to the carrier.

6. Returns & Refunds

Our return and refund policies vary by product type:

  • RTA Cabinetry: Returns accepted within 30 days for unopened, undamaged items
  • Custom Cabinetry (SOLLiD, ENVii): Custom orders are non-returnable once production begins
  • Damaged or Defective Items: Replacement or refund provided for items damaged in shipping or with manufacturing defects

7. Warranty

Warranty coverage varies by manufacturer:

  • SOLLiD Cabinetry: Manufacturer warranty — see SOLLiD Warranty
  • ENVii Cabinetry: Manufacturer warranty — see ENVii Warranty
  • DL Cabinetry: Manufacturer warranty included with purchase

8. Design Services Terms

8.1 Consultation Services

Initial consultations are provided free of charge. Full-service design engagements are governed by a separate design agreement outlining scope, fees, deliverables, and timelines.

8.2 Design Ownership

Custom designs, 3D renderings, and specifications created for your project remain the intellectual property of Kitchens By Remote until full payment is received. Upon payment, you receive a license to use the designs for your personal kitchen project.

8.3 Design Accuracy

While we strive for accuracy in all designs, final verification of measurements, specifications, and fit is the responsibility of the customer or their contractor. We recommend professional verification before finalizing orders.

9. User Responsibilities

By using our website and services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when placing orders or requesting quotes
  • Verify measurements and specifications before finalizing cabinet orders
  • Inspect deliveries promptly and report any damage or defects within 48 hours
  • Use our website and services for lawful purposes only
  • Not interfere with or disrupt our website or services
  • Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of our systems

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Kitchens By Remote shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our products or services
  • Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim
  • We are not responsible for installation errors, contractor workmanship, or modifications made to our products
  • We are not liable for delays caused by manufacturers, shipping carriers, or circumstances beyond our control

10.1 Disclaimer of Warranties

Except as expressly stated in manufacturer warranties, all products and services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

11. Dispute Resolution

11.1 Informal Resolution

Before initiating any formal dispute resolution process, you agree to contact us directly at [email protected] to attempt to resolve any dispute informally. Most concerns can be resolved through direct communication.

11.2 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

11.3 Arbitration

Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of our services that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Cheyenne, Wyoming, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
